Dr. Donaldson Honored as One of Columbus’ Forty Under 40

Columbus Business First has selected Dr. Jeffrey Donaldson as a member of this year’s class of Forty Under 40 honorees. These young, high-achieving men and women were chosen out of a group of approximately 240 central Ohio nominees. The diverse group of individuals varies in professional backgrounds, and Dr. Donaldson is the only plastic surgeon to be honored this year.

The journal’s annual Forty Under 40 awards program recognizes Columbus’ most notable up-and-coming professionals and community leaders. Honorees are evaluated on community service efforts, career achievements and other awards and distinctions. Forty Under 40, now in its 22nd year, is the Columbus Business First’s longest-standing awards program.

This is not the first time Dr. Donaldson has been featured in the pages of Columbus Business First. The journal first interviewed him about his plans in November of 2008, before he had even opened his Columbus-based practice!  The next interview was in February 2009 when he discussed the impact of innovative technology on the field of plastic surgery. In 2013, Donaldson Plastic Surgery was awarded the journal’s “Fast 50” distinction, which recognizes the fastest growing local businesses in central Ohio.  In this feature article, Dr. Donaldson discussed his inspirations and the experience of growing a thriving plastic surgical practice.

The 2014 class of Forty Under 40 honorees will celebrate at a formal dinner and awards’ ceremony to be held at Hollywood Casino on Thursday, May 29th. Additionally, Business First will profile Dr. Jeffrey Donaldson, alongside his 39 cohorts, in its May 30th issue. Selection for this program underscores Dr. Donaldson’s dynamic role in the local community and proves what Donaldson Plastic Surgery patients and staff have always known: he is not only an excellent plastic surgeon but also a valuable asset to the city of Columbus.
